jake, that was the most interesting cooking class I’ve ever seen. dog and all. Also, if i heard correctly in the background one of the girls said they have never used the over? Thank you for sharing that video. It’s great to see the people you are ministering to. I think they loved it! You will do well in language school; I’m just sure of it. When we are “nervous” we can be sure we will give God the glory because we are more aware that we are depending on Him! Can’t wait to hear how that goes. lisa guier

Yeah, that is correct, many of the ladies in the neighboorhood had never used their ovens before!

Just a note to say Hi and let you know that we pray for you often. We will try to do better about e-mailing you and encouraging you in your walk of obedience to Christ. Hope Spanish classes are going well!!! We have enjoyed reading your letters and hearing about the relationships you are building and how they are being used to glorify Christ. We thank God for you!!!!!

Hi Jake-
Just wanted to say Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day. Thank you so much for spending the week sharing your life with us. It was truly inspiring. The whole experience was so heart-felt and touching. I walked away with so much. I wish I was still there and am still praying on where God wants me to serve. Croc has really laid on my heart. I hope to keep in touch with you and continue to hear your stories of how God is working in your life.

Sounds like you have had a long week, but I know God will always prevail in you. When we got back, Mike asked that Matt and I give our testimony about Croc. I had never done such a thing, yet again stepping outside of my comfort zone. I felt like I needed to give it even though I was absolutely terrified. But it was so great to get to share with Gateway how much I encountered God in Croc, and how dedicated you and the other Youthfront members are in Croc. You truly have a passion and dedication that is so inspirational. Thanks again for sharing your life in Croc and allowing me to be a part of it for a week. You are in our prayers at Gateway. Hope you have a great week!

Hey Jake!!! Haven’t contacted you in quite a while and wanted to check in. You have not been forgotten. Great to see what has been accomplished in Croc through your obedience to Christ. Carla Harrison is getting married in November and we look forward to seeing all of the “kids” again. Everyone is scattered over so many states that it is hard to keep track of everyone. We Pray that Christ keeps you safe and continues to use you as His Instrument to do what is right, good and pleasing to Him!!! With An Everlasting Love, Dan & Michelle Brown

Thanks Dan and Michelle! It’s great to hear from you guys. As for Karla’s wedding, I’m not sure if I will be able to make it or not, but it will be great to see you guys there if I can.
Thanks for keeping me in your prayers!
